SHOULD THE BLAZERS TAKE A GAMBLE ON BILL WALKER?

Bill Walker could be a steal for the team that takes the chance on one of the most explosive and athletic players in the 2008 NBA draft. This kid brings toughness to the court and plays well above the rim. If the Blazers wanted another Jerome Kersey type player, Bill Walker is it.

Walker played hurt for most of the year last season but still put up 30 points three times for KSU who had Michael Beasley as the 1st option. Walker plays hard all the time and should be on an NBA bench next year.
Since the 2nd ACL injury, Walker is close to regaining the quickness and explosiveness.
I hope the Blazers take the chance like Bucky Buckwalter did when he picked Jerome Kersey so many years ago.
UPDATE 6-16
Bill Walker injured his knee for the 3rd time last weekend but will remain in the draft. A full MRI will be completed this week to determine the extent of his injury.
I still think Walker is worth using a 2nd round pick to grab.
